These guys are great. I recently had them move my fridge and it was a difficult move because of the new stairs and narrow hallways, but they were able to do... it without issue. They also took the time to address some on my last minute requests (i.e. repositioning my fridge door, ..etc). I would definitely use them again for big item moves.read more

We hired two guys for 3 hours through Uhaul website when we rented a truck to work along side my husband and myself as I couldn't lift the heavier items. The... guys were amazing and worked very well with us. They were on time, very friendly and worked hard. Between the 4 of us, we finished early even though we had to make 3 stops. I cannot say enough great things about Kristiyan and his team! They went above and beyond to help me out. They were so efficient, careful, kind, honest and... trustworthy. I even encountered a situation with my move where I needed them for a second day, and Kristiyan moved their schedule around to fit me in when I couldn’t find anyone else! If it wasn’t for him, I would have been a total mess. They even carried my couch all the way around my new building when it wouldn’t fit in the elevator. I don’t know any other movers who would do that. I spoke to many moving companies before I chose Kristiyan, and I 100% made the right choice. I would recommend them to anyone. The team was genuinely friendly, on time, efficient and very... careful with our belongings; we immediately felt we could trust them as soon as they got to work and until the last item was packed. There’s a reason that Gold Star Movers has ONLY 5 star reviews… it’s because their service is AMAZING. IF YOU NEED MOVERS, you MUST choose them! You will... not regret :)Moving from condo to condo is difficult because you have to book 2 elevators with a limited time frame… so when our originally booked movers (Cough cough big box moving company) failed to show up or return our calls asking about their whereabouts you can imagine how stressed we were. However, Gold Star Movers came to the rescue! We had called so many companies and were rejected due to the extremely short time notice, however Kristiyan was willing to help us immediately. His movers were already booked but he agreed to help us even though his role is not moving, and assured us not to worry. They arrived quickly and did a fantastic job. I recommend them to everyone and will only use them in the future! Best service and very friendly and strong men! (They did not even have a truck available because it was so last min so they WALKED with very heavy and large items across the parking lot/street to the neighbouring condo!)read more

I could not have been happier with my experience with Gold Star Movers. The guys who helped us out on our moving day were friendly, professional, quick,... helpful, respectful, the list goes on! They really helped to take the stress of moving during a pandemic out of the equation. We had stairs in our old apartment and stairs in our new place - this move was a bit annoying but they remained positive the whole time. They even put a few things in their own car that were particularly valuable. We really appreciated that extra care and attention. The price was almost too good as well, I gave a tip at the end of the day, but I definitely felt they deserved a bit more afterwards. I called Gold Star Movers last minute, literally just hours before our move in and they were extremely kind and more then willing to come help on short notice.... They arrived early, before we even got there! We had a trailer instead of a truck which can be tricky to navigate, not to mention how hard it is in downtown traffic, and they without hesitation switched places with us, backed in the trailer and immediately started unloading for us. They were fast, efficient, kind, professional and fairly priced! I wished I had more cash on me at the move in, because they deserved a tip! Thanks for making our move in so easy 🙂read more

This is the second time I’ve used Gold Star Movers to aid me with a move. I don’t usually write reviews but I couldn’t not for them. Their service was... absolutely impeccable. We ended up having a moving truck issue and even through all of that, they never missed a beat. They showed up on time, they moved my apartment which is two flights of stairs up with a smile on their faces. No breaks, no damage and NO headache for us. All of that for an amazing price. After searching the best google reviews, speaking with a bunch of movers in the area and getting quotes from everyone, I decided to use these guys. We moved... from Hamilton to Mississauga during the busiest move weekend of the year, and our move included a piano.I have had really bad moving company's and services in the past, but these guys were amazing!They were accommodating, friendly, quick, moved our stuff well, and they even stayed a little later after their booked time due to the job not being done (which was our fault). By far the best moving services I have ever used. The guys are like machines. They were friendly, honest, fast, punctual and did the job in the most efficient... way as possible. There was no spot left in the house while moving any of the big stuff. I had my truck rented. They even went above and beyond by organizing all the stuff in the truck and tie them up so that no chance for damage. I would highly recommend them for any moving job and hope they maintain this supreme quality.read more
